Based on the hugely successful award winning Nickelodeon animated TV series ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ (2005-2008), this live-action feature film is the opening chapter and starts with the young Avatar Aang and his struggle to survive. Just as in the TV series, the world is comprised of four nations: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. The Four nations are tied by destiny.
