Movie review: ‘Sex and the City 2’, a genderless view by men makes for an entertaining next chapter!

I didn’t poll my male friends to ask if they were into ‘Sex and the City’. I simply watched it during its HBO run of six seasons (1998-2004). And, with it being on cable, I appreciated the raw and straightforwardness of the characters and the scripts. As I sat down to screen this next ‘chapter’, which is how I viewed the series and the 2008 big screen premiere of the first, I realized that is how I view films that may tagged ‘chick flicks’ (oh how I hate that term!) or ‘date movies’, with a genderless view and relate to characters… Read more...
