Most know the name ‘Robin Hood’ and the association of being a champion of the less fortunate with the common phrase ‘robbing from the rich and giving to the poor’. And as with folklore, its grounded in reality with either events and/or persons, from a time well in the past, and handed down through the ages in the spoken word and eventually in print as the legends made their way into our modern world.
