Since “Tropic Thunder” (2008) and the “Night at the Museum” films (2006/2009), I’ve warmed considerably to Ben Stiller’s films. He’s growing as a writer, producer, and director, as his acting skills have also deepened in his character portrayals…
In this drama, he presents a New Yorker (Ben Stiller) who moves to Los Angeles in order to figure out his life after recovering from a nervous breakdown. He’s house sitting for his brother while he and his family are away on vacation. Rediscovering social interaction is a key aspect of the process, and we see how tough the road can be as Roger Greenberg’s journey begins…
