Academy Award® winner along with 2 more nominations, Renée Zellweger brings that down-to-earth believability to every role she undertakes. In “My One and Only”, based on a childhood recollection of actor George Hamilton, Renée Zellweger is mesmerizing to watch as she brings to life the conflicted emotions of a mother trying to provide an accustomed to lifestyle for herself and her teenage sons…
Set in 1950’s, the glamorous Anne Deveraux (Renée Zellweger) leaves her philandering bandleader husband and takes her two teen-aged sons across country, searching for a new husband who's worthy and capable of supporting her and her family. In the course of their travels with Los Angeles as their final destination, they take odd jobs to make enough money to continue their journey. The people they encounter, along with the comedic situations and poignant revelations, they find new levels of their own powers and resources, rather than those of others. The greatest discovery that all three make is that the key to finding happiness is to never stop looking; to be true to one’s self and those you love!
Starring Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Kevin Bacon, Troy Garity, David Koechner, J.C. MacKenzie, Eric McCormack, and Chris Noth.
Directed by Richard Loncraine; written by Charlie Peters; Rated PG-13 for sexual content and language; Freestyle Releasing release; Runtime: 117 minutes. |
